How to add a custom domain to your account?
In this article, you will learn how to integrate your root domain into clickera.com
You will need:
- a domain registered outside of clickera.com
- a clickera.com account
Step 1: Add your CNAME Records
You can refer to Example 1 or Example 2 depending on whether you want to add regular domain or subdomain
Example 1: Setup CNAME record for regular domain www.hifyc.link
At your vendor domain. You add a CNAME record with host "www" and value "hosting.clickera.com" like image bellow.
Example 2: setup CNAME record for subdomain www.funnel.hifyc.link
At your vendor domain. You add a CNAME record with host "www.funnel" and value "hosting.clickera.com" like image bellow.
Step 2: Add your Domain into Clickera
2.1 Click on your Profile picture >> Account Settings >> once in the settings area, click on Domains >> then click on "Add Domain"
2.2 Add your domain
2.3 Recheck CNAME record ready.
If you see this error *The hostname is missing a CNAME record pointing to hosting.clickera.com or the update has not yet propagated* , there could be 2 reasons:
- Your update CNAME record at STEP 1 has not yet propagated. Updating DNS records on your domain name can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate throughout the Internet due to many different factors.
